About ‘Radio Kootwijk in black and white’ by Paul Kaandorp
Radio Kootwijk is a former transmitter park that in the first half of the 20th century provided an important communication link between the Netherlands and its then colonies, particularly the Dutch East Indies. It was built from 1918 onwards. Housing was also built for workers, which went on to form the village of the same name.
