About the artwork

This painting captures the raw energy and nostalgia of vintage motor racing, a tribute to an era where speed and bravery defined the sport. As the artist, I sought to immerse the viewer in the intensity of the race, focusing on the interplay of motion, light, and texture. The foreground car, with its cream-colored body and exposed mechanics, is a centerpiece of power and elegance, its driver fully absorbed in the moment. The dust kicked up by its tires adds a visceral sense of speed, while the maroon car in pursuit creates a narrative of competition and determination.

The track, curving gently into the distance, invites the viewer to follow the race, while the arid, sunlit landscape provides a stark yet vibrant backdrop. The painterly texture, with visible brushstrokes, was intentional—each stroke meant to evoke the grit and romance of early 20th-century Grand Prix racing. What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
