About the artwork

'READY FOR THE NEXT STEP' is a mixed media urban artwork in which layering and texture play an important role.

The girl stands on the border between light and dark, inside and outside, past and future.
The yellow and turquoise accents suggest hope, renewal, and movement.

It is about a moment when a choice must be made: the title refers to a decisive, perhaps vulnerable moment of change. The girl is literally ready to take the next step—physically, emotionally, and symbolically.
This work is composed of layers of image transfer, collage texts, acrylic paint, ink, pencil, and pastel chalk.

Together, they tell a story of growth, resilience, and the inevitability of the unknown. Mixed media, weathered textures, and contrast enhance the layering of this image.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
