About "Quiver trees in the golden light"

About the artwork

The impressive scenery of the quiver tree forest in Namibia is shown here in warm sunlight, which bathes the bizarre shapes of the trees in a golden glow. These quiver trees - botanically Aloidendron dichotomum - are among the most fascinating plants of the African semi-desert. Their sculptural appearance, the thick, branched crown and the cracked trunk make them a favourite subject for photographers from all over the world. They really come into their own at dawn or dusk, when the light transforms the landscape into a spectacular play of colours.

This picture was taken in the south of Namibia, in one of the most famous quiver tree forests near Keetmanshoop. The location is not only a hotspot for nature photography, but also a place of quiet beauty and bizarre shapes that only the desert can produce. Each tree looks like a living sculpture in an otherwise barren landscape.

A must for anyone who appreciates the magic of Africa, desert vegetation and atmospheric moments in nature. Ideal for photographic art, calendars or nature illustrations.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
