The best view point of the Quirl is at the very south of the summit plateau. Here the forest thins out a bit above the rocks and gives a clear view of the surrounding landscape. From the Schrammsteine to the Pfaffenstein on the opposite side, even to the Bernhardstein near Bielatal, there is no tree in the field of vision. Only the view in the direction of Nikolsdorf is then overgrown again. But just as it should be, after all, the forest is more important in the end than a nice view for us people.
