My tour along the Reitsteig in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains took its crowning conclusion on this hiking day at the Carolafelsen. This is by no means an exaggeration, because the sunset that awaited me - after an afternoon full of clouds and rain - was a beautiful experience and enveloped the landscape in majestic light.
