About "Quietly grazing Deer in early spring."

About the artwork

On a mild but chilly afternoon sometime just before spring begins, this deer stands quietly grazing in its's habitat. The trees are still completely bare, the temperature is still low and the wind is cold. Finding good grass or leaves is still difficult these months for this deer. Fortunately, spring is approaching.

These deer live in a large wild area on the coast of the Netherlands, yet they are not afraid of people, given that they also walk through the area a lot.

Just a bit off the path was a vista between all the bare trees to a small round field where for a while there was only bare grass, no trees, bushes or other plants. This deer stood right in the entrance to that field grazing with eyes wide open.

The beautiful green colours of the grass versus the brown of the bare trees is very beautiful and soothing. it is a telling photo of a lonely deer that just went about its own thing.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
