The swallowtail butterfly (Papilio machaon), but different.
The swallowtail is a beautiful butterfly. Quite large by Dutch standards, about 50 to 75 mm wingspan. The wings are yellowish with beautiful markings. I photographed the butterfly in such a way that you actually look at the inside of the wings. It is lighter than the outside but also beautiful.
In the picture, the butterfly is using its rolling tongue to drink the nectar from the red clover.
