Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.

About ‘Quedlinburg - Lindenbein Tower’ by Thomas Bugdoll

The Lindenbein Tower, also known as the Sternkiek Tower, is a medieval defence tower of the listed city fortifications of the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt. The tower is located directly north of the Lindenbein Villa in the western part of the old city fortifications of the historic Quedlinburg Old Town, east of Wallstraße. The tower is 42 metres high. The tower is open to the city side, which was originally also the case with Quedlinburg's other defence towers. At the end of the 19th century, the tower was rebuilt in the style of historicism. It was given a romantic crowning with a viewing gallery in the taste of the time. The name goes back to the entrepreneur Georg Lindenbein, who had the neighbouring villa built in 1898 and, for his wife, also had the tower rebuilt. Today, it serves as Quedlinburg's highest observation tower. Access is only possible via the grounds of the neighbouring Lindenbein villa.
