Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.

About ‘Quedlinburg - Am Schloßberg’ by Thomas Bugdoll

Quedlinburg is a town on the River Bode north of the Harz in the district of Harz in Saxony-Anhalt.
First mentioned in a document in 922 and granted a town charter in 994, the town was the seat of the royal palace of secular rulers visited at Easter from the 10th to the 12th century and a ladies' convent for almost 900 years.
The historic old town with its cobbled streets, winding alleyways and small squares is home to over 2000 half-timbered houses dating back eight centuries.

With a historically built-up town centre covering more than 80 hectares, Quedlinburg is one of the largest area monuments in Germany.

Its closed medieval town centre and its huge stock of half-timbered houses document more than six centuries of half-timbered construction in a unique quality and quantity. Buildings from all periods and styles make Quedlinburg a prime example of the development of half-timbered construction.
