Oil painting of the ingredients of a dish with octopus. Pulpo alla gallega is a traditional Spanish dish often eaten as tapas. After I bought the ingredients and photographed the composition in my kitchen, I started cooking the dish.
Recipe for the enthusiast: if necessary, first hit the tentacles vigorously with a hammer to soften them (or throw it in the freezer overnight). Then cook the octopus for 1.5 hours with white wine chilli pepper, onion, lemon and parsley. After that, you take the octopus out, let it cool for a while and then cut it into small pieces. Then you fry this briefly with some olive oil and smoked paprika powder. Then it's ready to eat with some slices of boiled potato, some extra lemon and a nice glass of wine. Enjoy!
