About ‘Pré Rup, the brick and laterite temple’ by Frank Photos

Pre Rup is one of the most impressive temples in the Angkor complex in Cambodia. Built in the tenth century during the reign of King Rajendravarman II, it was probably used as a funerary temple. Its pyramid-shaped brick and laterite structure evokes the mythical Mount Meru, the centre of the universe in Hindu cosmology. Climbing its steep steps leads to a summit offering spectacular views of the surrounding jungle, particularly magnificent at sunset. The slender towers of Pre Rup take on a golden hue, creating a magical atmosphere. This temple is renowned for its harmonious architecture, with bas-reliefs and finely carved lintels. Although partially in ruins, it retains its mystical aura and remains a fascinating testimony to Khmer art. A visit to Pré Rup is a plunge into history and a unique opportunity to admire one of Angkor's most breathtaking panoramas.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
