About ‘Praying marsh harrier male looks back’ by Jan Jongejan
Sometimes a bird stands just wrong for the photo. You are looking at the tail and the head is not visible. But if they then look back for a moment, it becomes a powerful image. A marsh harrier always prays only briefly, unlike, say, a kestrel. That is why I am glad I was able to capture that moment in this photo in evening light.
