The National Theatre (Czech: Národní divadlo) is the most famous theatre in the Czech Republic. You cannot ignore this dazzlingly beautiful building. It proudly towers over Prague's surrounding beauties with its 'golden' crown as a literal highlight. A symbol of grandeur in the middle of the city.
The photo was taken from the Legion Bridge (Czech: Most Legií). After Charles Bridge, this bridge is one of Prague's most beautiful bridges that lets you cross the river Vltava.
Even though it was very quiet at the time of this shot, I also used AI to remove the last (modern) vehicles and people present and converted the image to black and white. In my opinion, this enhanced the image of nostalgia I wanted to create.
The 'finishing touch' is made by tram line 42, a nostalgic tram that approached me across the bridge at the time of printing.
The result is a powerful image, taking you back in time for a moment. Not something alien to Prague!
