About ‘Porseleinfabriek Stoke-onTrent’ by Lies van den Berg

Deze keramische schijven worden gebruikt om hoge stapels te maken in grote hoge bakstenen oven. Daartussen komen plateaus met serviezen en ander gebruiksgoed dat gebakken moet worden. In de 19e eeuw werd deze methode ontwikkeld in Midden-Engeland waar veel porselein- en aardewerkfabrieken waren.

I have created a number of photo books that have the elements WATER, EARTH, FIRE and AIR as subjects. As a visual artist, I use my photography in a translation into abstract art.
