About "Polar bear & panther - an encounter of opposites"

About the artwork

Two mighty animals meet in intense silence: a white polar bear and a black panther look each other straight in the eye. The picture is characterised by the stark contrast between light and dark, between ice and night. Both animals are depicted in detail - every single hair seems tangible, every wrinkle in the face has character. The neutral grey background enhances the effect of the contrasts and draws the eye to the quiet tension between the two.

Inspiration:
With this picture, I wanted to visualise opposites that do not fight each other, but meet with respect and calm. For me, the polar bear and the panther symbolise two worlds that couldn't be more different - and yet understand each other. The power that emanates from this encounter should encourage us to cross borders and build bridges.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
