About ‘Plivitce lakes in Croatia’ by Annette van der Aa

The beautifully intense blue Plivitce Lakes are a major tourist attraction. The area is known for its waterfalls, clear water and stunning nature. The water is so clear that you can see the bottom and the fish without snorkeling. It is a protected nature reserve and not freely accessible. It can only be visited during the day after buying an entrance ticket. The beauty is fairly unique. You walk on forest paths and boardwalks. I was struck by the intense color of the water in contrast to the trees in the background. The photo was taken from a high vantage point. This image fits perfectly in a bedroom, living room, office or a store. The colors are soothing and refreshing. Turquoise and green predominate in this photo. Because of the high vantage point, this photo gives an overview of the layers in the landscape. You can see the forest and the layers of soil below the waterline.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
