For this work, I started with 12 small paintings on paper. By adding different layers of lines, collage and acrylic paint, I created more and more layers and depth in each painting. By using the same colours for each painting and also the same imagery, it has become a series that fits well together. The most striking colours are pastel pinks and blues, the colours of hyacinths in spring. The black adds strength and spice. Free expression. For the collage, I used snippets from magazines. I photographed the paintings. I digitally merged the 9 works that matched best into this mixed media work. There is a lot to see in this work, you discover more and more the longer you look. The work has a warm atmosphere and the fuchsia pink makes it hip and feminine. The black gives power. It fits in a modern interior, but also very well in a children's room or business space or waiting room. Bring a cheer and the cheerful feeling of spring room!
