About ‘Pink Daisies – Flower Staircase’ by Atelier Spürbar

I was given these daisies as a present. They’ve been sitting on the terrace for ages, waiting for me to find a good spot to plant them out. Personally, I find their colour almost too intense. Nevertheless, I felt like taking some photos of them the other day. This picture, amongst others, was the result. The contrast between the pink, yellow and the rather blue-green background creates a sense of tension for me. I like the perspective. How everything is depicted from a different viewpoint. To me, these little pink daisies look like a staircase. I find myself wondering which animal might fancy climbing up there right now.
I usually photograph flowers with a macro lens and with the help of a little bag of cherry stones, which I use as a tripod, as I often place the camera very close to the ground to take the shot.
The colours make this picture a real eye-catcher. For me, it needs plenty of space around it so that it can really come into its own. It wants to be seen.

Seven years ago, I switched to digital photography. Nature and macro photography are my favourites. Observing and capturing nature through the changing seasons, flowers and animals has become a passion of mine. It gives me great pleasure when you enjoy my photographs.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
