I love the beauty of decay, and in France I certainly get my fill then.
There was also something sad about the vacancy in this village; it was not the only empty building in the village.
There often seems to be no other use for it and so it is left as it was; old, dated, dirty and dilapidated. Which in turn somehow makes me happy.
So nothing is for nothing....
