Located near the city of Pokhara in Nepal, Phewa Lake is an enchanting lake known for its serene beauty and breathtaking views. Surrounded by lush green hills and with the majestic Annapurna mountain range in the background, the lake offers a picturesque landscape that attracts locals and tourists alike. It is Nepal's second largest lake and covers an area of about 4.43 square kilometres.
The lake is a popular destination for various recreational activities. Visitors can enjoy boat trips on the calm waters, often stopping at Tal Barahi Temple, a small island temple in the middle of the lake. This Hindu temple is a holy site and attracts pilgrims from all over the country.
