Toronto, a city I love to visit. For work I had to go this way again and then, of course, my backpack comes along with camera, a few lenses and a tripod. Almost always my 12mm ultra wide Voigtländer goes along in the bag and so too this time. The advantage of this lens is that it is very compact and because the angle of view is huge on a full frame camera.
This comes in very handy in cities with skyscrapers, as you can see here in this photo. In Toronto's financial centre, the buildings are fairly close together and looking up, you can sometimes see beautiful lines. Now I just had to find an interesting composition and I tried to do that by photographing diagonally upwards.
In the end, this turned out to be the one and then, from behind my desk at home, I could set to work to make this photo suitable for your wall. This usually takes some time to get the light and colour right. I do this by using various software packages and a Wacom drawing tablet. In the end, this turned out to be it and I am satisfied with the result.
