About the artwork

The Col du Granon (2400m) near the French town of Briançon is one of the most deserted places in Western Europe. That's why you can still see the Milky Way there during the summer.

A mountain road takes you up to an abandoned military camp visited at night by stargazers and photographers. Then the road continues unpaved to Piedmont in Italy.

In spring, the surrounding alpine meadows turn into an impressive carpet of flowers. Large groups of sheep graze there freely under the watchful eye of shepherds and their dogs. As the sun sets, the sound of sheep bells quietly stops.

This picture of the setting sun just shining over the ridge was taken while lying down.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
