The beach at Hindeloopen was built in 1913, just like the Badpaviljoen. At the time, this place was known throughout Friesland and the surrounding area as a beautiful location. The pavilion itself is a beautiful building that was considered a national monument and unfortunately ended up in the top ten most endangered national monuments. The seaside resort of Hindeloopen, as it was called at the time, was so popular that people from Leeuwarden and Sneek visited regularly.
