The inspiration for this work was the natural diversity and expressiveness of this classic garden flower. I was particularly interested in how the combination of colours and shapes creates a visual dynamic that is both ordered and playful.
With this picture I wanted to create an atmosphere that is friendly, open and structured at the same time. The message lies in the beauty of the ordinary - in the power that arises when many small elements form a harmonious whole.
