The picture shows a densely planted field of pansies (Viola ×wittrockiana) with predominantly red and white flowers. The flowers are arranged close together, creating an intense, colourful surface. The slightly blurred background enhances the depth effect and draws the eye to the multitude of flowers in the foreground.
The inspiration for this work was the effect of colour contrasts in nature - in particular the interplay of strong red and bright white, which unfolds a strong visual presence in this combination. I was interested in how repetition and density create an almost textile structure that nevertheless remains lively.
With this picture, I wanted to create an atmosphere that is both powerful and organised. The message lies in the energy that arises from the combination of colour, form and rhythm - a visual statement of diversity and cohesion.
In interior design, this work is particularly suitable as a striking colour accent. It brings warmth and dynamism to the room and fits well in modern, clear environments, where its colourfulness and structure create a lively but not overbearing effect.
