"Panorama still life: Zeeland knots (Astrantia Major) with reflection" is a macro photo of three Zeeland knots (Astrantia Major) lying on a mirrored surface. As a result, the flowers reflect on the underside and you get a surprising image. This work has been cropped to panorama size so that the flowers largely fill the image.
When making this picture, I chose a shallow depth of field, so the front "flowers on the flowers" are in focus and the further back you look the blurrier they become.
A high-contrast scene / still life, which exudes a sense of warmth and also, despite the contrast, something of tranquillity. Besides fuchsia, the main colours in this work are purple, old pink, green and cream.
This work could hang beautifully as a wall decoration in the bedroom, kitchen, hall or just above the sofa! Also beautiful in business locations such as on the wall in a meeting room, office waiting room or practice room!
