This colour photograph shows a fjord on the Faroe Islands in the North Atlantic. This breathtaking view can be enjoyed from Klakkur Mountain. The picture was taken in the Faroese winter in difficult external conditions and consists of 35 individual images, which were arranged next to and on top of each other to achieve the highest possible level of detail and colour dynamics.
The inspiration for the artwork was the breathtaking beauty of nature that can be found on the Faroe Islands. Especially in winter, this group of islands in the North Atlantic usually presents an extremely uncomfortable, but therefore even more impressive face.
