Panorama from Grünten, 1738m, into the Illertal valley by Walter G. Allgöwer

The Grünten, a sublime peak in the heart of the Allgäu, sits enthroned at the majestic height of 1738 metres. From this sublime vantage point, an impressive panorama opens up before my eyes, celebrating the beauty and diversity of the Bavarian landscape.
The majestic Illertal valley stretches out before me, a picturesque gorge that winds its way through gentle hills and is surrounded by lush greenery. The view sweeps on and Rettenberg spreads out like a cosy doll's house, surrounded by lush greenery and the traces of an idyllic everyday life.
Turning to the left, Immenstadt stretches out, embedded in the surrounding nature like a pearl in green velvet. The Alpsee shines calmly and reflects the majestic Allgäu Alps, which rise proudly on the horizon. Here, in the Oberallgäu, the forces of nature come together to create a harmonious ballet of colours and shapes.
The air is filled with the freshness of the mountains, while the view stretches across the vast Allgäu. The roofs of the houses in the villages are like miniature models in the distance, and the landscape stretches to the horizon, an infinite painting of green meadows, golden fields and rolling hills.
This panorama, captured in a single moment, is not just a collection of images, but an ode to the beauty of Bavaria, Germany and Europe. It is a reminder of how small we are in the vastness of nature and how profoundly the earth can touch us with its majestic splendour.
