The panda is a rare species of bear that lives high in the mountains of western China in bamboo forests. In fact, they eat almost only bamboo, between 12 and 40 kg per day. Pandas live by themselves. Males and females come together in late spring for a few days to mate, but otherwise they do not interfere with their peers.
The most striking thing about the panda is, of course, its black and white fur. The head is white with large black patches around the eyes, black ears and a black nose. In addition, the body is white with a black band across the shoulders that continues into the black front legs and hind legs. Another striking feature is the extra sixth finger, which serves as a kind of thumb. This allows the panda to easily hold bamboo stalks with one hand. Pandas walk rocking and are not very fast.
Pandas are the symbol of WWF and of international nature conservation. All the more reason to get a picture of them in your home if you care about protecting nature. This picture will certainly not look out of place in a modern and sleek interior.
