About ‘Palm trees against the city wall in Essaouira Morocco’ by Ingrid Koedood Photography
Essaouira is a coastal town west of Morocco on the Atlantic Ocean. This is the wall of the medina. It were 2001 designated by UNESCO as a world heritage site.
Palm trees, shade and and white wall makes for a beautiful picture. Especially if, at that moment, someone with a handcart also walks into the picture.

My photography focuses primarily on people, culture and authenticity. I capture moments that tell a story – often inspired by my travels and encounters with tribal and ethnic communities.
On 12 April 2026, my work was featured on the Dutch TV programme: VT wonen weer verliefd op je huis.
