About the artwork

This picture shows the calm coastline of Domburg, with wooden posts breaking the surf and two seagulls walking calmly along the waterline. The waves of the North Sea gently wash over the sand, while the sky stretches out in a clear, serene hue. The interplay of beach, sea and sky creates a timeless and soothing atmosphere.

The inspiration for this work comes from the simplicity and silence of nature. The wooden poles symbolise the passage of time, while the seagulls represent the freedom of the coast. The sea and horizon evoke a sense of infinity, taking the viewer into a moment of pure contemplation.

The mood I try to set is that of tranquillity and connection with nature. The seagulls and the vast beach invite a moment of silence and reflection. I want the viewer to experience what it is like to stand still for a moment and feel the serenity of the surroundings.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
