About the artwork
A colourful painting with several squares in various cheerful colours. An artwork with colour blocking: various different colours next to each other that reinforce and complement each other.
This cheerful painting has a nice variation of warm and cool shades distributed almost randomly across the painting.
I find my inspiration for using these colours in nature. Shades of nature are beautiful colours of different shades of blue and green but cheerful spring colours of yellow also make an appearance. But you can also see warm autumn colours in red and orange in this painting. The artwork shows a nice diversity of different natural colours.
The natural effect of this cheerful painting is enhanced by the printed leaves distributed across the colour areas.
There is also a nice contrast between the straight shapes of the twenty squares in bright colours and the natural jagged shapes of the leaves depicted in black with warm autumn colours added.
