Near Paesens (Also called Peazens) , Friesland lies the beautiful Wadden Sea landscape of Moddergat. An appropriate name of the village for this Black and White statue of the Wadden Sea. As a lover of the Wadden or the sea, this statue can obviously not be missed on the wall. Especially as a resident of Paesens or the Wadden Sea. The dark black and white colours make this work suitable for many different interior styles. Hang it in a restaurant near the Wadden Sea, for example, or above the sofa as a memento. For this work, the heavy black and white contrasts were specifically chosen. It adds to the interplay of lines and also tells you how mysterious and ominous this landscape is. One moment it is low tide, and before you know it, it is high tide. For this photo, I took extra risk and took this photo during the rising tide while walking the mud flats. Within minutes, this stretch of mudflats was underwater again. Photography by Denise Tiggelman. Nature photographer for biodiversity restoration.
