About ‘Ostrich on a walk in Etosha NP, Namibia’ by Carmen de Bruijn
On a very windy and dusty day in Etosha National Park, I came across this perky ostrich. The ostrich was walking across the vast plain at ease and all alone.
They are such large and imposing birds and besides that they are also very curious. The ostrich (Struthio camelus) is the largest and fastest walking bird in the world.

In all my work nature is a great inspiration. From animals to beautiful landscapes and flowers ... I enjoy it immensely, whether in the backyard or on a trip.
As a photographer, I occupy myself with nature, still life and travel photography. In my paintings animals often play a leading role. I also paint stylized portraits of women.
