An exact picture of the original painting olive trees with yellow sun by Vincent van Gogh from 1889.
I spent a lot of time creating this image in beautiful realistic fresh colours as I think Vincent van Gogh intended it to be.
The painting was made during Vincent van Gogh's time in Saint Rémy in Provence, France.
This is one of fifteen canvases of olive trees that Vincent van Gogh made between June and December 1889. This is perhaps the most famous. Earlier that year he had interned himself at the asylum of St-Paul, in the town of Saint-Rémy in the south of France, where he was to create his most profound paintings. The vivid oranges and shades of yellow suggest that the painting dates from the autumn months. Van Gogh left Saint-Rémy in May 1890 and moved to Auvers, near Paris, where he continued to paint until his death.
