I created this work using digital painting techniques, based on a photograph I took myself of a vintage car on a warm summer evening. The car was parked at the edge of a country road, surrounded by tall trees and soft evening light. As the sun slowly sank, golden rays touched the shiny metal, giving the car a wistful glow.
In the painting, I wanted to capture that play of light and time - the way a summer evening briefly stops everything. The warm hues of the sky merge with the deep green of the paintwork, and in the reflections on the surface you can see not only the surroundings, but also a glimpse of the moment itself: a mixture of calm, nostalgia and anticipation.
