About ‘Old Zastava in macedonia’ by Rene van Heerdt

Driving through Macedonia's countryside, you come across the most beautiful scenes. The truly authentic countryside.

Near Ohrid, for instance, I came across this beautiful old Zastava. An old Serbian car brand that has since closed its doors. I think it had been there for so long that driving it would no longer be possible. Placed under a beautiful tree to leave it there forever. I had to immortalise this. A day later, the sun was right and I captured this.

In black and white, I like the photo best because the car stood out a bit in the rich green.
