November walk is a watercolour painting in portrait format by the artist Karen Kaspar. It shows an abstracted landscape with a lonely tree and the silhouette of two people walking. The sky is dark and snowflakes dance. The painting is done with only two colours: Indigo blue and sienna brown and the white of the paper.
It was a gloomy, cloudy November day when we started our Sunday walk. No one was around, everything was quiet and peaceful as we walked along bare fields and lonely trees. Suddenly, dark clouds rolled in and it began to snow. It was almost like a little blizzard and when we finally reached our car, we looked like little snowmen because we were covered with snow everywhere. This wonderful experience inspired me to paint this abstract landscape painting in watercolours.
