About ‘Together walking through the sand dunes painting’ by Karen Kaspar

Anticipation is half the pleasure. When you plan a day at the beach, you can already hear the waves rolling in, the scent of the fresh sea breeze is in the air, you feel the sand between your toes. A mother and her young daughter walk through the sand dunes to the beach for a day of fun by the sea. This painting is part of a small series of acrylic paintings in square format with the theme of sea and beach, which I painted in the summer of 2021. I was inspired to do this by my visits to the beautiful Baltic coast in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. When I look at them, I immediately feel transported back to the sandy beach, feel the summer wind and hear the sound of the waves and the call of the seagulls. You too can bring a piece of beach holiday into your home. 200
