The coastline of the Lofoten in Norway is in some places dotted with huge boulders which are beautifully polished by ebb and flow, currents and storms. Here photographed during bad weather. Because of the strong wind there were huge waves and the tide rose quickly, so the photo equipment had to be well protected against the salty seawater.
But the boulders, with turbulent skies and the impressive mountain range in the background where just the last bit of sunlight of the day shines on, makes up for everything.
