There are those moments as a photographer that you never forget. This image is the ultimate example of that for me: a night at Kirkjufell, Iceland's iconic mountain, while the northern lights danced with full force in the sky. The green glow arced across the landscape like a gateway, while below the waterfall murmured gently in the cold night light. It is precisely that contrast - the icy water, the impressive rock formation and the almost otherworldly light - that makes this photo so special to me.
My inspiration for this shot was the sheer wonder Iceland always evokes in me. Everything about this island feels raw, untouched and adventurous.
