A bone-chillingly icy day in the deep winter of Northern Norway. An incomparably magical light bathes this winter wonderland in breathtaking shades of blue and purple which are accompanied by the white spray of the fjord.
Due to the relentless icy cold and the strong polar wind, the frosted algae are covered with a thin layer of ice like icing and sparkle silver in the last daylight.
As a result of the long exposure, it looks as if the wild fjord gently envelops the seaweed in the water and creates a beautiful contrast on the frozen winter landscape.
