About "Night over Skaksanden Beach - Beautiful Lofoten"

About the artwork

This picture was taken in the very last light of the day at Skaksanden Beach in the Lofoten Islands. Because it was already quite dark when the picture was taken, a long exposure time was necessary, which makes the water appear picturesquely soft and silky. The picture therefore looks very harmonious and radiates a fascinating calm. At the same time, the striking rocks in the foreground, as well as the mountains in the background, also make an effective visual appearance. The light-coloured, snow-covered mountains contrast wonderfully with the blue of the late hour.
The picture makes do with few colours, making it atmospheric, but also timeless and elegant.
At the Neutral Density Awards 2023, an international photo competition, the image was included in the Winners Gallery and awarded an Honourable Mention!

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
