About ‘New York City skyline - evening photography’ by Sharon Chin-Ten-Fung

While on holiday in New York City, I took this particular photo from Dumbo Brooklyn. On Pebble Beach to be precise. I took this photo with a slow shutter speed, making the water smooth, and the coloured stripes of the cars're visible in the distance. Flying through the sky at the time was a plane with a flashing light. I took a similar photo from about the same location in daylight using an ND filter. This one is (or will soon be) also in my shop.
The photo you see here has not been edited, but is straight from the camera. This photo is the ideal photo for the bedroom, as it is an evening photo and exudes the warm atmosphere from all the lights.
I did not use any specific inspiration for this photo, I really wanted to take a nice skyline photo of New York during my first real photography holiday. When this photo was taken, I knew: I can go home. Mission complete!
Because of the warm colours, this photo matches many interior colours.
To achieve a nice result on the wall, I would personally recommend letting the sky be an important part of the cropping. This photo was taken at such's high resolution that it is suitable for any large format.
