About "New Amsterdam Skyline"

About the artwork

Amsterdam has historically never had a distinct skyline, but this has changed in recent years. With increasing globalisation and the shift of financial and business centres following the Brexit, the city is playing an increasingly prominent role in the global economy. This has led to a wave of new developments, especially on the Zuidas, where impressive high-rises are transforming the cityscape.

The Zuidas acts as the financial heart of the Netherlands, attracting both national and international companies. The architecture of the area is characterised by innovative and sustainable designs, with glass towers symbolising Amsterdam's progress and modernisation. Buildings such as the Valley, the Atrium and the impressive Zuidasdok development underline this evolution.

However, Amsterdam remains true to its characteristic balance between historical charm and modern progress. The city invests in sustainable and energy-efficient building projects, combining functionality and aesthetics. This creates a dynamic skyline that reflects not only Amsterdam's growing economic influence, but also its commitment to innovation and liveability.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
