During the hustle and bustle of a restaurant opening-clinking glasses, quick hands, flashing knives-my eye caught something unexpected.
As I looked focused through my lens, a green grasshopper crawled out of the shadows of emerge. Imperturbably, it made its way among the petals of a pink flower.
Not asked, not wanted, but there he was. His paws gripped the delicate surface, as if he knew he was, for a moment, starring. A contrast of raw nature against refined elegance. An uninvited guest who didn't care about etiquette or expectation.
For a moment, I forgot about the people, the dishes, the perfectly styled plates. This was the moment. No posed perfection, no artificial composition-just pure, pristine beauty. The camera clicked. The image was fixed.
Sometimes the most beautiful stories are not ones we plan, but ones that simply present themselves.
