About the artwork

Trees are often imposing elements of nature. A forest is so much more than just a collection of trees. Each tree is beautiful to behold and together they form a resting point in the hurried modern world. Enjoying a walk in the forest is an excellent way to disconnect from everything and get your rest. The trees embrace you and bring you peace. Trees and the forest are always a great inspiration for me to capture with my camera.
While walking through the forest, I immensely enjoy the big giants standing in the forest. Imposing trees, big and tall and with a beautiful canopy or special needles. But when looking at a tree, I don't just look up. I also like to study the trunk of the tree. Because the bark of a tree trunk is often beautiful to look at as well. It is extraordinary what can be discovered in there. Sometimes you see little animals crawling over the trunk and hiding in little crevices. And very often all kinds of things grow on a tree trunk. Especially if the bark of the tree trunk is nice and rough and uneven because then mosses and small plants can establish themselves well.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
