About the artwork

In this painting, a naked woman stands on the first step of a weathered concrete staircase in an abandoned, dilapidated factory. She stands with her back to the viewer, her body straight and still, as if she is about to step up or, on the contrary, hesitating to continue. Her posture is calm and natural, with relaxed shoulders and slightly bent arms along her sides. The light falls into the room from diagonally above, subtly illuminating her back, buttocks and legs against the sombre background.

The factory itself breathes decay. The staircase, once functional, now looks brittle and unsafe, with crumbling edges and rusty handrails.

The woman, with her soft, living silhouette, forms a stark but poetic contrast to the hard, deserted space. Her presence seems both intimate and haunting: a lonely, silent figure in a world that was once full of life.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
