About "Mystified"

About the artwork

The mysterious mood of a misty winter forest is always magical, but when the fog is dense, you hardly know where you are and you are in the most famous forest of The Netherlands, a feeling arises in you that can hardly be described. These dancing beech trees that move into the frame are slender and their bark has an almost metallic glow to it. The atmosphere is moody, mysterious and mystical, which seems to be inherent to this forest. This is one of my earlier images when I was still photographing paths, which is something I hardly do these days as I try to avoid references to human interference as much as possible.

Ellen Borggreve is a landscape photographer and author of Woodscapes and Praxisbuch Wälder fotografieren, among others. She was born and raised in the woods of the Veluwe where her love for trees originated. Besides forests she also likes to photograph Dutch coastal scenes.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
